Lauren Barnes - Kindergarten
My name is Lauren Barnes. I am grew up here in Mustang and
now have the privilege of teaching here in this wonderful
community. I started my college career at Oklahoma City
Community College and then transferred to Southwestern Oklahoma
State University in Weatherford. There I obtained my
Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2001. While attending
SWOSU, I met my husband Gentry Barnes. He is a medical
Dosimetrist and works in Oncology. We are blessed with 2
wonderful sons. Grayson is 3 years old and our newest
addition Traylon is 3 months old. In my spare time I enjoy
going shopping, spending time with my family, and going to the
lake.
I am starting my 7th year of teaching here at Creek.
All 7 years have been in Kindergarten. I couldn't imagine
teaching any other grade. I really feel that teaching is
my calling. I love being in the classroom, interacting
with the children, and watching them grow throughout the year.
