Lynn Heath - Title I Reading
 I like to be called Lynn (my middle name).
I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Southern Nazarene
University. Most of my classroom experience was in second grade.
I was a Reading Recovery teacher in the Putnam City School District for
6 years until my retirement in 2002. I was the Reading Recovery / Reading
Specialist / Reading Coach at Southern Nazarene University-School for
Children for 5 years.
I live here in Mustang with my husband (and NO pets).
I have 2 married daughters (one lives in Claremore, OK-the other lives in
Kansas City, Mo). They each have a daughter and son.
I like to read, watch HGTV and the Cooking Channel.
I am learning needlepoint, and successfully made my granddaughter a
needlepoint stocking last Christmas. Only 3 more to go!
My passion is teaching reading to those struggling
readers. It is such a delight when all the puzzle pieces start to
fit together for them. I look forward to a wonderful year at Creek
Elementary.
