Heather Mitchell - Fourth Grade
 I graduated from UCO in 2000, and spent the next 4 years teaching in Edmond. This
will be my fourth year to teach 4th grade at Mustang Creek. I have been
married to Grant for 6 years, and we have 2 incredible children! My
son, Daylen, is almost 5 years old, and my daughter, Alex, is 1.
Mustang is quite a familiar place for us. Grant and I both grew up
here, and a lot of our family and friends still live here. Our family
enjoys taking trips to Nevada to visit family, going to Colorado to
ski, boating on many different lakes, and just spending time
together. This summer we had a great time on our trip to Seaworld! I
enjoy teaching because I love to see the children's faces when they
learn something new. My goal this year is to create a safe learning
environment where every child feels successful, and recognizes the power
of education.
