Mandy Scott - First Grade
I grew up in Marlow, a small town in
southern Oklahoma. I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist
University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Early
Childhood Education. I taught Pre-Kindergarten in Midwest
City for 3 years before moving to Yukon. I have taught 1st
grade for the past 4 years in Yukon. I am very excited
about my move to Creek. I am looking forward to the coming
school year.
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I remember
making pictures on career day in kindergarten and drawing me as
the teacher. I love to teach children to read. It is
so rewarding to see children learning new words and finally
putting it all together. I love the excitement of the
children and their enthusiasm in the classroom.
I am married to my college sweetheart, Donnie, and we
have two wonderful little boys. Sam is three and Ben is
one. They keep me busy! When we are not playing
together I like to do craft projects and cook. We also
have an English Mastiff named Molly that is a part of our
family.
